Fire-Resistant Breathable Waterproofing Membrane
(For Façade and Roof Applications)

WATERSHIELD FIRE is a high-performance façade and roof membrane produced with a unique manufacturing technology in a three-layer structure, used in the construction sector as a fire-resistant moisture barrier and breathable waterproofing membrane.

The product is manufactured using Polypropylene (PP) in the lower and upper layers and Polyethylene (PE) in the middle layer. Delivering superior performance in reaction-to-fire classification, WATERSHIELD FIRE is classified as Class B, s1 (low smoke emission) and d0 (no flaming droplets), making it especially preferred for façade applications where fire safety is required.

Produced with a weight of 110 gr/m², WATERSHIELD FIRE allows moisture formed within the structure to be discharged in a controlled manner thanks to its breathable structure, while providing full waterproofing and wind barrier properties that effectively protect the building envelope against external factors.

Application Method

• In façade and roof systems, it should be laid with at least 10 cm overlap depending on the application
• Joints should be sealed using appropriate tapes
• WATERSHIELD FIRE should be fixed to profiles from the overlap area using flat-head nails or staples
• Opened products and application surfaces must be free from dust and dirt
• After application, the membrane should be covered within a maximum of 90 days (3 months)
• UV resistance can be increased upon request, extending the exposure period

Packaging and Storage

The product is supplied in roll form. Available packaging dimensions:

• 150 cm x 50 m → 75 m²
• 150 cm x 100 m → 150 m²

Products must be stored in dry, clean areas protected from direct sunlight, preferably on elevated pallets, in horizontal or vertical position. Direct exposure to sunlight must be avoided.
