Vapor Barrier & Waterproofing Membrane

WATERSHIELD ALU is a high-performance membrane produced with a unique manufacturing technology in a three-layer structure, used in the construction sector as a vapor barrier (moisture barrier) and full waterproofing membrane.

The product consists of Polypropylene (PP) in the lower layer, Polyethylene (PE) in the middle layer, and Polyester Aluminized Foil in the upper layer. The reflective surface reduces heat loss in free air cavities and contributes to energy efficiency. Its structure that does not allow water vapor transmission effectively eliminates moisture and condensation risks within the building envelope.

Application Method

• In façade and roof systems, it should be laid with at least 10 cm overlap depending on the application
• Joints should be sealed using appropriate tapes
• Opened products and application surfaces must be free from dust, dirt, and moisture
• After installation, the membrane should be covered within a maximum of 30 days (1 month)
• UV resistance can be increased upon request, extending the exposure period

Packaging and Storage

The product is supplied in roll form.

• Packaging areas: 80 m² – 160 m²
• Ideal coverage area: 75 m² – 150 m²

During storage, products must be kept in closed, dry environments protected from direct sunlight.
